I remember the woodcut „Universum“. A man breaking through the expanse of sky to see different worlds, other realms. Far beneath the sky, there is a big wheel. I imagine it to be connected to the frames of our reality, and as it slowly turns, it runs the cinema we call life. If we cling on to some „special“ frame, we get stretched and distorted by this giant wheel. For us, it is invisible and unstoppable. But we can also use it for useful things. To change the brown and black into green and violet, and the other way around. I imagine space so big that all these things fit in it, separated only by inconceivable distance.

It might be so that Nautilus feels as though his shell is enough to travel the whole ocean. This ocean is vastness. An ... more infinite moving possibility. Space which you can feel with its waves and its own movement. Lots of space. Very seldom objects. This is what Cosmos is for me. This shell – a tube - a didgeridoo. less
